The Buddha

I am 25% into this beautiful piece, which I am stitching in honor of my spiritual mother, Maria de la Paz Tan. I attend a stitching group with some very traditional cross stitchers who have been "subjected" to my full coverage pieces while they are stitching samplers and such. They all admire this piece, especially its colors. I am inspired to bring to life this beautiful piece by Redon, my favorite Symbolist painter. Thank you so much for charting this work of art.
